Question by Sometimes there are no answers: Does the father’s blood type matter regarding pregnancy ?
If I were pregnant and I am A+, are there any circumstances in which the father’s blood type could be of importance to a developing fetus ? I know of RH incompatability between mother & fetus if the mother has negative blood, so does the father’s even matter at all if the mother is positive ?

The only way that the father’s blood type matters is that he has an effect on the baby’s blood type. If you are A+ then it really doesn’t matter what the father is because there is only a problem if the mother is – and the baby is +. If you were – then it would be a different story
