I was pleasantly surprised by this workout dvd. It is an excellent production, well cued, and perfectly paced for pregnant women. I love the 20 min low impact cardio segment that can be used in all 3 trimesters (there is even a lower impact modification shown), and that you can choose which toning segment to do based on your stage of pregnancy. I'm not normally a Denise fan, but this one is really good!
As Denise says, get ready for that bikini . . .

I'm a Registered Nurse who is pregnant with her first baby. This DVD delivers a low-impact cardio and toning workout that prepares your body for childbirth, keeps you in relatively good shape, and helps you "bounce-back" after you deliver. Although I can't quite promise the bouncing-back part as of yet, after having used this DVD a few times, I can already sense a difference with my posture, with my muscle tone, and also with aches and pains (much less in my back!). Plus, the workouts are divided so that you can either focus on toning, cardio, or Kegal exercises if you do not want to do the entire workout. You may spend as little as 20 minutes to as much as 45 minutes for an invigorating workout. Denise Austin's optimism and perkiness only added to my motivation to use this DVD most days of the week.
Better than I expected

Denise is still her over-the-top excited fitness guru, but this workout is so much better than her other prenatal video. Denise is not pregnant in this one, but uses women in various trimesters. The workouts are varied and, with a little modification, I can really feel challenged when I'm done. I enjoy it, the music is good, the stage/setup is good, and I would actually recommend this DVD.

I have three pregnancy workout videos and this one is my favorite. I also have buns of steel and fit mama. This workout is the toughest of the three, anyone who claims it is too easy is using too light of weights. I started out with 5 pound weights but am going to go up to 10 pounds for a couple of the exercises. If you feel up to it, you can pause it and do extra reps.
